Flash Pass is A Higher Form of Adulting

My roommate and I came to the conclussion that adulting means shelling out the extra cash to not wait in line. After a trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain a few things came to our attention. Thing one; visit six flags on a casual Tuesday when creatures under the age of 15 are still in school. Thing two; borderline poverty means waiting in line.
Think about it. How many lines do you wait in that you could buy yourself out of? This is why some smarty pants created food delivery; no lines. It may come at an extra price but damn is it worth it. However I do have to say waiting in line makes for good people watching. The exhausted mother of 3 saying, "MOVE UP," in a hushed-yell. Or the young couple spooning in line, inching forward still packaged together as though a live advertisement of how not to get kinky with gorilla glue. The herd of 13 and younger who were obviously dumped off to fend for themselves as six flags acts as a daycare center. And two, kind of tired-looking, white girls visibly wishing they had enough money to buy a flash pass.
One day we will be adulting hard enough for this elusive pass. For now, we wait.
